Amtrak Downeaster Resumes Limited Service June 15 Enters Phase 1 Service Restoration Plan
The Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority (NNEPRA) announced yesterday that the Amtrak Downeaster will begin Phase 1 of Service Restoration beginning June 15, 2020. Service will resume with one round trip on weekdays only between Brunswick, ME and Boston, MA

The MBTA and Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the agency’s operating partner for Commuter Rail, announced today service increases on all Commuter Rail lines will take effect on Monday, June 22.

Newburyport/Rockport Trains between Rockport and West Gloucester Replaced with Shuttle Buses through Summer 2021
To accommodate construction as part of the Gloucester Drawbridge Replacement Project, the MBTA today announced that the current diversion on the Newburyport/Rockport Line that is replacing all weekday and weekend Commuter Rail trains with free shuttle buses between Rockport, Gloucester, and West Gloucester Stations will last through summer 2021.
