SEPTA Suspends Rail Service on Several Lines

Effective Thursday, April 9 SEPTA will modify train service, annulling service on several lines. Service will be suspended on the Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Cynwyd, Manayunk/Norristown, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark Lines.  The Airport Line will continue to operate, but with trains running every two hours. The Fox Chase Line will continue to operate. On the Lansdale Line, trains will only operate between Center City and Lansdale, with service curtailed to Doylestown. Service will remain on the Media/Elwyn, Trenton, and Warminster Lines. On the Paoli Line, trains will only operate between Center City and Malvern.
