Phillipsburg RR Historians Announce Grand Reopening

Phillipsburg Railroad Historians has announced the reopening of its Phillipsburg, N.J. railroad museum on Sunday August 29th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The museum is located at 10 Pine Alley and Cross Street in Phillipsburg.  The Centerville  &  Southwestern miniature train ride will be in operation. Historic equipment will be on display, including  restored  Lehigh & Hudson River caboose 18 and the Chestnut Ridge Mack railbus.  The Nordberg Gandy Tie Crane will demonstrate lifting track parts. Visit the improved museum, railroad library and gift shop with unique items for sale at reasonable prices.  Ride the train all day for free, in fact, all exhibits are free. Enjoy your bag lunch and enjoy the shade at the trackside picnic grounds and watch  Norfolk Southern train action at a safe distance.   Bring the family for a fun-filled day on the railroad.
