SEPTA has announced that shuttle buses will replace train service from Bridgeport Station to Norristown Transit Center. This will allow for the major rehabilitation and structural repair project on the [M] Norristown High Speed Line’s Bridgeport Viaduct. The first phase of this project takes place from Sunday, March 29 until Saturday, May 9, with other major outages planned throughout 2026 and 2027. Bus service is provided between Norristown Transit Center and Bridgeport Station. Train service operates as normal between Bridgeport Station and 69th Street Transit Center. Please plan ahead for bus/train connections at these stations and expect an increase in travel time. A new [M] Norristown High Speed Line PDF schedule with specific train and bus times will be available in the coming days.
