On Monday the Surface Transportation Board approved Canadian National subsidiary Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad’s acquisition and operation of CSX’s Massena Line,  between  Beauharnois, Quebec, and Woodard, N.Y, along with several branches in both Quebec and New York State. The acquisition includes the 31 mile long Fulton Subdivision. CN and CSX will interchange at Dewitt Yard, in Syracuse, N.Y.
