The Arcade & Attica operated its classic bright-orange General Electric-built centercab locomotives during an all-day photo charter on the beautiful summer day of July 14, 2023. The trip was billed as an opportunity to ride behind the centercabs and photograph them operating with a mixed-train consist, including a freight and a passenger consist. This was a special treat, because an Alco RS-3m has been purchased to replace the centercabs on freight trains. To our delight, the Alco was delivered the day prior to the charter, and it was available for photos at the end of the day…
