CSX Begins Reconstruction of Historic Howard Street Tunnel in Baltimore

The historic Howard Street Tunnel in Baltimore, originally opened in the late 1800s, has officially closed for reconstruction as part of an initiative to modernize the nearly 8,700-foot-long tunnel and enable double-stack intermodal service along CSX’s I-95 Rail Corridor.

New Spring Schedules Introduce Changes to Bus and Metro Line Names

SEPTA’s Metro transition is underway, and we’re progressing toward our goal of making our system easier to use and simpler to navigate for all of our riders. A key element of this process is streamlining the way we refer to our different services – all bus lines will be indicated by numbers, and all metro lines will be identified by letters.
